One of my good friends is laying on the couch in the room right next to me with my younger brother. They are cuddling. And watching music videos. This makes me feel slightly sad right now. Sometimes I feel like my friend (who has a crush on my brother) just asks to come over to see him. And not really me. I know that my brother likes her as well. And I want to talk to my friend, share inside jokes, etc. without my brother there next to us. I also want to talk to my friend right now. But I don't want to intrude. But I do, just to break them up. I don't WANT them to be getting all cozy on the couch. But I don't want to annoy her and make her annoyed at me. I know she's too nice to really voice it, but I have a feeling that she would get annoyed inside. There's also the fact that I'm sort of jealous of her for acually having two boyfriends. I know that they were arses and not very good boyfriends (and that she hasn't had her first kiss yet) and that I don't feel ready for one (holding out for college and slightly more mature guys), BUT that doesn't really help with the feeling. I am naturally a tactile person. I am also a very shy person. So, unless the other person initiates it, I generally don't hug people. I'm afraid of being pushed off. *sigh* And I want to be able to hug someone with the assurance of reciprocation. Update, they are still cuddling. And muttering to each other. AND I THINK THERE WAS SOME BITING GOING ON! Sometimes, I feel superfluous. And sad. And in need of new people to meet. And in need of a night out at a club. AND IN NEED OF A FIGURE OF SOME AUTHORITY TO BREAK THEM UP. This is getting ridiculous. Damn the world and teenage hormones.

I was at the Ren Fest all day today. Very fun. Tried on a red&black corset and wanted to buy it. Realized it was $300 and was pulled reluctantly away by my friends. I like corsets. :) I got a turkey leg, ate a bit, realized that it was all fatty and threw the rest away. Watched the belly dancers, Press a Wench, E Muzeki (good music group with nice-looking male bouzouki player), several bagpipers, and just people in general. Oh yeah. And the jousters, too. Unfortunately, the hot one with long hair wasn't back again this time. Maybe he'll be back next week. I also bought a dried flower wreath for my hair. I think it looked nice. And I got fairy-dusted twice, so I am very sparkly. :) Anyway, going to end this brief and pointless update. Ciao.

I wrote a sort-of comedy routine, inspired by an article in Time. I can just imagine myself saying this to an appreciative audience... *big grin* Have a look-see...
I like t-shirts. Especially t-shirts with cool sayings. They’re like tiny billboards, saying what I want to and looking cool while doing it. For instance, “I’ll have your baby Brad.” Now I could NOT get away with saying that on the street. Like, “HEY! BRAD PITT! I WANT YOUR CHILD!!” No. His bodyguards and personal group of undercover Secret Service dudes would administer a severe beat-down and I would limp home without having achieved my objective, which would have made that little anecdote pointless. But with a t-shirt, I can express my wish to have Brad’s children without getting beaten down. Now that is useful.
Of course, I have very little wish to have Brad Pitt's children. But I am hoping that it is funny all the same.
